On Saturday Oct 27th, 2012 many of the Westfield "pioneers" met for a special lunch and a media presentation of the most salient events in the history of Westfield. From the earliest days in La Mirada through 25 years at the present location, warm memories were evoked. That afternoon, Joyce and Vinh Tran hosted a gathering for the many families who have been part of Westfield since 1987. Joyce expressed her gratitude to the Westfield staff and then directed the mike to many others. No one was shy about sharing their often humorous first impressions and the lasting impact of their contact with Westfield Residence.
On Sunday Oct. 28th, 2012 Westfield opened its doors to hundreds of friends who enjoyed the testimonies of both the first and newest residents, a tour of the newly renovated library, and many conversations with others who enjoyed strong ties to Westfield through the years.
